dbi Systems has been the sole provider for A/V solutions to Hotel Arts since 2008. Since then we have supplied, installed and serviced the in-house A/V systems for the hotel’s restaurants, lobby, ballrooms and meeting rooms.

Challenge

The hotel’s A/V system was previously composed of underperforming, independent systems with little to no integration and expansion capabilities. Over the years, we have upgraded the systems throughout the hotel to ensure that all areas deliver high performance audio and video in an interactive and cohesive manner. An ongoing 5-year roadmap ensures that future upgrades are timed to integrate well and support prime revenue generation from the ballrooms, meeting rooms and restaurants.

The systems throughout the hotel have extremely different requirements regarding performance and utilization needs and are operated by individuals with vastly different technical skill levels. As such, there was a need for a robust and flexible system for well-versed users that could also be easy to implement by casual users. The use of powerful digital signal processing platforms enabled intuitive room combining and audio source sharing between ballrooms, meeting rooms and the lobby.

Solution

Regular ongoing maintenance and service has ensured flawless reliability of all systems throughout the hotel. As new technology becomes available, the system is continually upgraded to leverage existing infrastructure and improve the performance and functionality of the system with little to no disruption to business.
